What did I learn... post 2
What might happen to our country's protection if we stop paying our soldiers? Will they keep fighting even though they are not receiving a paycheck? Would risk your own life for no pay, get nothing in return, and be protested against? I believe if we stopped paying our soldiers for a time period, bad things would happen, bad things being people deciding not to fight or to give intelligence and secrets to other countries to receive pay. A long term affect would be people wouldn't want to join a service because they would fear not getting a steady paycheck that they would need in order to live a life in these times. I do not agree with President Obama and his words saying soldiers are "non essential" (Fox news in Austin, Texas) These people are our line of defense from people trying to attack us and he considers them non essential?!Your sir are non essential we need these brave men and women fighting while you sit in you office and take expensive vacations

Wow, I agree with you. Like our soldiers is our people too. They not only protect our country but also our lives. Like it is unfair to allow the government to control our soldier's fate. They work hard to protect us.
ReplyDeleteWhat is even more ridiculous that our troops recently killed Bin Laden yet the government takes all of the credit about it. Like do i see Obama in the front lines or with our troops fighting???
