What did I learn...

I learned that when we go though tough times Obama wants to make things harder on the people that matter most. He is the one that proposed that we stop paying the troops for a week in order to have money for the government, what horse crap! What happens when our soldiers have there utilities, lose their cars, houses, everything they own when they cant receive their pay or when they receive a decline in their pay. Its tough times but asking that from our soldiers is to much. They are the ones that put their lives on the line, leaving families at home to fight a war for everyone's protection. And what would happen if the soldiers decided no pay no work, that they would go on strike, we would be defenseless! We need to stand up and protect their paychecks so they can keep protecting us like they have been. Obama shouldn't think of himself as a freedom maker or even president, he should think of himself as the guy who gets the glory while these people do the dirty work, so why can't his pay, travel, and food expenses be put on hold? What the president is to go to eat a McDonald's? Instead of spending near four hundred dollars a night on food for his family order them four big macs and give the rest help support our nation.

Mother may I? Pay the Soldier?

Going through the internet you find stories about soldiers fighting for their country have the possibility of dying for their country but aren't being paid for it. To me it seems like a big game of mother may I. Who makes the decision for the mother? Politicians make the decision as if they are the mother. Who does the decision effect? I have read that Lawmakers may be paid but Soldiers may not be. What makes the Lawmakers so great where they may be paid when people fighting for our country are not? Where is the money going? Why are politicians being paid for talking when the people on the front lines aren't. If our politicians were true patriots like our soldiers are they would take a pay freeze and let the soldiers over seas receive their hard earned money. Soldiers are being shot at, bombs blowing up near them, and their friends are dying, they shouldn't even have to worry about their bank accounts us as people should worry about putting that money in there for them! People have to realize that we need these brave men and women on the front lines protecting our freedom and unless  you have served or have some type of handicap disability you should be trying to help see to that they are paid.
